My Story...

As the owner of Gibson Accounting I’ve met a ton of great people who needed help solving problems, whether it’s explaining how to calculate certain number (like net profit, for example) or making their books make sense.

I’m a hardworking, dedicated accountant whose goal is to help people turn the confusion of bookkeeping and taxes into something that makes sense and helps them save money, time, or hassle.

How did I get here? Well, I was born and raised not too far away in Kelowna, BC. After a career in accounting in the private sector in Canmore, Alberta I made the move back and in 2005 started working with Steve Abramenko to develop a great base of clients throughout the Okanagan. In 2010 Steve decided to retire and I took the reins.

My aim is to run a business that is personable and helps small businesses and people understand their finances so they can make better decisions. I’m available to talk to when you have questions, whether at my office or over the phone.

When I’m not at the office I’m enjoying the beautiful outdoors (it’s fantastic here, isn’t it?) – walking my dogs, golfing, biking, soccer, tennis you name it! For relaxing I love hanging out at Okanagan Lake with my extended family and eating some good food. I also enjoy contributing my time to girl’s hockey training or supporting the Upper Mission to help Vernon BC stay a close-knit and caring community.
